Why do you think he is dead? |
Curtis disappeared in the middle of his shift at work, leaving behind his lunch, cigarettes, lighter and contact lens solution. He suffered from Multiple Sclerosis which limited his mobility. His credit cards and accounts have not been accessed since he disappeared. All of these factors, plus our families belief he would never leave under these particular circumstances leads to the conclusion that he did not survive the night.

Why did you wait until now to ask for help? |
While this website is new, we have placed ads in the local newspapers each July requesting information and help in finding out what happened to Curtis. We also were interviewed for the Unsolved Mysteries television show that profiled Curt's case in 2001. See the website for Unsolved Mysteries here. Additionally there have been several news articles about the case including those listed here.

Who do you think is responsible for his death? |
We can only speculate at the details of what happened to Curtis the night he disappeared. Our hope now is that someone who knows what happened will have the conscience to report where his remains are so that our family may find peace and provide him a proper burial.

Why haven't I seen his story on TV? |
Back in 2001 Curt's story aired on Unsolved Mysteries and was briefly covered by local news. Our family has chosen not to pursue media outlets other than our annual plea in local newspapers.
